Thank you so much for listing my site as one of your gluten free restaurant resources Jennifer. Greatly appreciated!
Pingback: NFCA’s GREAT Kitchens Gluten-Free Training | Gluten Free Jacksonville
Enjoyed reading your blog tonight. I was diagnosed with celiac disease 35 yrs ago. I am very sensitive to gluten, so very careful about where I eat out. I would like to add two establishments that I have good experiences with. They are Teds Montana Grill, the manager has celiac and Sweet Holly for cupcakes, at the Town Center.
Thank you so much. I have heard great things about Sweet by Holly but didn’t know about Teds. Since you are a veteran to Celiac I welcome any other suggestions or tips.
Two great additions to the downtown area:
Mocha Misk’i on Laura St. Downtown makes incredible g-free brownies.
Biscottis in Avondale was so accommodating for my birthday. They have a TON of selections and even brought me a slice of flotilla flourless chocolate cake.
Sorry, I have no idea why my phone typed “flotilla”. What is that?!
And Super Food and Brew downtown at the corner of Main and Forsyth St.
I love the list that you have especially because it is so hard to eat out when you have to. I wanted to add Corner Taco in 5 Points. It has great food and almost everything is gluten free. Also, Carrabas has an amazing gluten free menu! I frequent the one by the airport, but I’m sure they all do.
Thank you Michelle! I will update- love Corner Taco they should definitely be added!!
Thank you so much for this! I just moved here from Boulder, Colorado and have been having trouble finding safe places. This is so helpful!
Please feel free to email or follow me on Facebook if you need more info! Feel free to private message me.
Hey Jennifer, am I allowed to list my restaurant on the site? We are a noodle and pasta dish franchise that has gluten-free noodles.
sure! what is the name?
Hi
It’s so nice to find this blog right here in jax. I know I have food sensitivities but I need to confirm what exactly is triggering. Can you recommend allergist/GI doctor’s in our area? I live in Nocatee.
I would start with your primary care physician. Tell them your concerns. I personally went to Dr Hameed at Memorial Hospital but I know Baptist also has some great doctors that specialize in this area too. I will post your question on our Facebook page as well.
Can you recommend a Celiac specialist in the area?
I recently asked this question on my Facebook page. Here is the link: https://www.facebook.com/154800307895827/posts/2761393610569804?sfns=mo
